Current Status Critical Needs Long Range Goals

3 Assessment: client survey and benchmarking process is in place to assess the effectiveness of the information resources areas. Seven years' longitudinal survey data but not definable as "customer satisfaction" information Redesign the current survey process to gather more informative data on client satisfaction; use the new information to refine support services Continually redesign and refine survey tools to gather sound quantitative data for IT Council discussions

4 Flexibility: organizations within the institution, especially the information technology organization, are flexible and able to change rapidly in support of changing business needs. A strength of ICS staff, but rate of change continues to increase Review and realign positions within ICS to increase front line services, facilitate communication and collaborative work Annual review of internal ICS reporting structures
